When we read about the scale and intensity of the current global hunger crisis, it can be easy for our hearts and minds to feel numb. The statistics are overwhelming. As millions face dire hunger and rising food insecurity due to multiple ongoing crises, what can we possibly do?

For all of us at World Vision, global hunger is not merely a statistic. Hunger is a name. A name that a mother chose. A person, made in God’s image, whom He calls beloved.
