No child should fall asleep hungry. But from 2019 to 2022, the number of undernourished people has grown by as many as 150 million. We’re facing a growing global hunger crisis driven largely by regional conflicts, sharply rising costs, extreme weather, and the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our response
Motivated by our Christian faith, we’ve launched an emergency response to reach 22 million people in 26 of the hardest-hit countries — supplying families with nutritional care and screening children and pregnant mothers for malnutrition.
IMPROVING ACCESS: Affected households are getting better access to clean water and sanitation, food, and emergency health and nutrition services
EQUIPPING FAMILIES: As farmers and communities gain more sustainable, resilient livelihoods, they’re better equipped to support their families’ needs.
PROTECTING CHILDREN: Children, women, and vulnerable groups are prioritized and protected in our response, including through psychosocial support.
