Honduras Youth Workforce Development Phase II Project Summary

World Vision’s Youth Workforce Development Project in Honduras seeks to improve economic opportunities for young women and men, ages 15 to 29, by having them participate in World Vision’s Youth Ready Program. The methodology helps youth to better position themselves to find jobs, self-employment, continued education, or education reinsertion opportunities. Across all program areas, the project engages religious and community leaders to conduct outreach with marginalized populations (such as persons with limited mobility and persons with criminal records). The project also works very closely with the private sector and employers to create a path for Youth Ready alumni to enter the workforce.
