Uganda Integrated Community Case Management Project Summary

The goal of World Vision’s district-wide program in Bugiri is to contribute to the reduction of
mortality among children under five from common childhood illnesses by increasing the use
of curative and preventive interventions, directly benefitting 85,743 children. Three pillars,
across the continuum between supply and demand, serve as a platform for reaching this goal: improve demand and uptake of child health services at the community level (outcome I); strengthen systems and structures supporting child health interventions (outcome II); and strengthen the child health information and supply system (outcome III).
