This capacity statement summarizes World Vision’s water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programming in Mali, highlighting four priority intervention areas: water supply and quality; sanitation and hygiene; governance and finance; and water security and resilience. We began working in Mali in 1975, following a significant drought. Over the past two decades, World Vision has collaborated with the Mail government to assist households, communities, schools, and healthcare facilities with sustainable WASH services. Today, World Vision operates in 34 program areas across the nation, working with local partners to successfully mitigate challenges. World Vision Mali has proven success with implementation of WASH services in healthcare facilities.
