This report presents the findings of the Post ENSURE Research Study which was designed to evaluate the impact of the ENSURE Resilience Programme and identify interventions that are relevant for building resilience in Zimbabwe. The purpose of the study was to document and disseminate the learning and new knowledge generated by the ENSURE program on what works and does not work in building resilience in Zimbabwe in order to improve future resilience interventions and use in upscaling activities that work in building resilience to the myriad of shocks and stresses that the majority of Zimbabwe’s rural population face. Findings from this study are expected to contribute to improving designs for future interventions and inform research, strategic planning, and investment by the government and development organizations. These will also speak to the issues of the effectiveness of capacity-building interventions and leveraging data to develop tools and models needed for overall effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. The findings will be used to strengthen local capacity development and stimulate program innovation.
