World Vision’s Food Security and Livelihoods programming focuses on multi-sectoral, integrated approaches to enhancing the resilience of vulnerable populations around the world. Due to our extensive experience and presence in nearly 100 countries, World Vision is well-equipped to work towards ensuring resilience in any context while taking into consideration unique social, economic, and environmental situations. Moreover, World Vision’s interventions always seek to develop long-term, sustainable change for healthier and more resilient communities while strengthening the adaptive, absorptive, and transformative capacities of vulnerable communities. World Vision has substantial global experience in resilience programming, successfully implementing RFSAs as the prime in Ethiopia, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe over the last ten years. Additionally, as a sub-recipient World Vision also implemented RFSAs in DRC, Haiti, Niger, and Uganda.
