The goal of SPIR — Strengthen Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP4) Institutions and Resilience — was to support the government of Ethiopia’s vision of enhanced resilience to shocks and improved livelihoods, food security, and nutrition for vulnerable rural households. The program operated in seven woredas in Amhara, six in Oromia, and two in Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNPR).
