The main goal of Uburezi Iwacu (Homes and Communities) is to ensure that all children have a safe, healthy, and stimulating home and community environments. To achieve this, the project will contribute to literacy outcomes through holistic pre-primary and primary education and working to improve social and emotional learning skills.
The activity will contribute to improved literacy outcomes for all Rwandan children by the end of Primary 3 by: 1) improving home literacy environments, 2) increasing community engagement in promoting children’s literacy, and 3) improving literacy learning
opportunities for children with disabilities.
